Mother-In-Law Leaves Toddler All Alone Outside Then Throws Out Parents For Calling Her Out

In some places, it is a norm to leave the kids alone outside to sleep but in other places, it is considered unsafe.

Recently, a Redditor shared with the Reddit community that she went to her mother-in-law for a family get-together where she cooked the whole day and got tired. Her mother-in-law told her that she will be taking the kids out for a walk while she can take some rest. OP’s husband took her to the car to vape and they watched their favorite podcast there. When they came home back, they saw their 1-year-old daughter sleeping outside in the stroller all alone while the door was shut. OP was horrified to see this and had an argument with her mother-in-law and her brother-in-law. MIL told her that she left the kid outside so she can sleep. Scroll down for the whole story.

OP went to her mother-in-law along with her husband and two kids. OP did all the cooking while her MIL micromanaged everything. After lunch, MIL offered to take the kids out for a walk. 

OP and her husband went to their car for a vape. MIL came back and went inside. When OP and her husband came back, they found their 1-year-old in her stroller outside the door.  

MIL didn’t want the baby to be woken up by her dog but no one knew the baby was outside and it could be dangerous. 

OP’s MIL is gaslighting her, she should have apologized to her. 

An infant should never be left alone unattended. 

The incident has sparked outrage and disbelief among the public, who are appalled by the grandmother’s reckless behavior and lack of concern for the child’s well-being. It raises important questions about the role of grandparents in childcare and the boundaries that should be respected in a family. Leaving a toddler alone outside is not only a violation of basic safety standards but also a form of neglect. Children at that age are highly vulnerable and require constant supervision and care. The fact that the grandmother did not seem to understand the gravity of her actions is deeply concerning and raises questions about her fitness as a caregiver.

Furthermore, some people shared that it is considered normal to leave your kids outside for a nap in some places but it was not a norm in the place where OP lives.
