People can be really weird at times. Take this one teacher for instance who decided to give her student way too many detentions worth way too many hours for the most unique and dumbest reason you will ever hear. No, the detentions were not given to that student for skipping classes, failing a test, talking in class, failing to complete his homework, or cursing in class. Now you may wonder, what else could be a worthy enough reason to give a student those many hours of detention? The kid was given detention for farting. Yes, you read that right.
Every time she would smell anything, she would blame it on the kid and punish him for farting.
The story was shared on the subreddit r/pettyrevenge so you better prepare yourself because when this kid’s mother got to know what was happening, you bet your butt she decided to deal with it in the pettiest way possible.

#4 The parents finally found out that the school had been putting their kid on detention regularly for over two months now.
#5 The mother was not happy at all after knowing about the detention and that they missed out on the dinner reservation due to the delay.

#8 OP’s mother gave all proof of the costs and the headmistress ordered Mrs. F to pay all of it.
#9 Mrs. F was forced to pay all the money to OP’s mother there and then and the headmistresses also asked her to run all detentions through her before proceeding with them.
#10 Now this was the best petty revenge ever.
#11 Mrs. F was totally out of her mind for doing this.
Unfair to the child and the compensation was way too low because it didn't take into account the exhaustion that the kid had to face for spending all those hours in school missing his breaks and lunchtime. This must've weakened the kid. What infuriates me is what did she expect from the kid. Keeping the gas in and not passing it out can be terrible for the body, you can get sick. Passing the gas is not a new phenomenon. This French teacher was really thick in the head.
