Is there a reasoning behind the actions of animals?

I know there is nothing called survival instinct and we all have that, even humans but that is not the reasoning behind why we all do things. I mean, survival instinct might have been the reason in the far past but that is long gone and humans have other motivations for doing things now. However, what motivation could an animal have? Isn’t their whole persona about reproducing, protecting themselves and their young? Well, if we go by that logic then these pictures are outliers.

And not just that but this isn’t true for many species out there, especially the ones that we have domesticated. I mean there are so many times that your dog will protect you from harm even though your doggo gets nothing in return and might even get hurt. Is it just because some animals are good? Well, that might be it but the reason might also be loyalty. It is because we treat them well, so they do the same for us. And yes cats are included as well.

However, today is not all about cats and dogs, we have pictures with monkeys and zebras. So if you are ready to warm your heart, scroll below to take a look for yourself.
