We all know that some animated movies have a special place in our hearts. We either watch them with a more mature perspective because we are aware of the current releases or because we watched them so much as kids that the VHS tape was worn out. However, because animators work so diligently to create these films, they frequently overlook key elements that only keen eyes can spot. Defused will point out some little errors in fantastic animated films that you might have missed. Scroll down to have a look at some interesting facts.

1. Aladdin

During Disney’s heyday in the 1990s, Aladdin was one of their biggest successes. Even if you’ve seen the movie multiple times, you might not have caught the minor error during Jasmine and Aladdin’s initial encounter. The princess does this by leaping from one structure to another. She has her hair down when she takes the leap, and when the camera focuses back on her, she is once more wearing a hood.

2. The Lion King

The Lion King has been viewed multiple times by many of us. Few people have nevertheless observed that as Simba and Nala start to tease and make faces at Zazu during the song I Just Can’t Wait to Be a King, Zazu’s paws immediately go into the water. The next picture, though, shows them securely planted on the earth.

Because of its popularity, Beauty and the Beast became the first animated movie to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. When Belle enters the bookstore to return Bonjour, the book she brought there, it becomes purple during the opening number.

When the sign that reads “Beware Ogre” is displayed during the iconic debut scene of Shrek’s adored protagonist, we can see from behind that it is missing some wood on the left corner. The shattered corner is on the other side when viewed from the front, though.

5. Despicable Me

The duct tape mark on the floor is somewhat safe from the desk in the opening scenes of the heartwarming tale of Despicable Me, when the three girls return to the orphanage after failing in their first effort to be adopted by Gru. However, it appears considerably closer than it did previously when the image zooms in on the sisters’ point of view.

6. Toy Story 3

One of Pixar’s crowning achievements, Toy Story 3 provides a nearly flawless conclusion to the trilogy (although it later added one more). When the toys are brought to the nursery at one point in the movie, the text on the side of the box they were found in vanishes after it is placed in the kids’ room.

7. Sleeping Beauty

One of the most well-known scenes from the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty is when Aurora, under the villain Maleficent’s sway, places her finger on the spinning wheel’s spindle and nods off. There is a continuity mistake at this point because the princess was wearing a fully smooth crown prior to falling. However, a few seconds later, it starts to sparkle.

8. Moana

One of Disney’s most successful films in recent memory is Moana. You may observe one of its minor continuity mistakes before and during the song that serves as its theme, How Far I’ll Go. Moana throws some splinters on the sand before she starts singing, and when she does, the splinters vanish.

9. Finding Nemo

The dentist places the tiny fish in a bag to present to his niece, Darla, first in a Ziploc, in one of the film’s most dramatic scenes. Nemo is in an ordinary bag when we first encounter him outside the fish tank, though.

10. Frozen

For the movie and Elsa’s character in Frozen, the song Let It Go marks a turning point. However, the intensity of the moment made us miss a little error. The princess pulls her braid from back to front and to the other side, but not over her shoulder, when she lets her hair down in her reveal.

11. Lilo & Stitch

One of Disney’s most successful arrivals of the new millennium was Lilo and Stitch. The affectionate bond between the alien-turned-puppy and young Lilo can obscure the minor continuity mistake that occurs when Stitch eats cake from a plate, which then vanishes in the following scene. Do you think these errors can be overlooked or do you think they matter for the movies?
