If you are doing a job, you should act responsibly and complete your duties faithfully. But some managers misuse their authority and try to get their duties done by other employees so they can sit free. A 17-year-old boy who works at a fast-food chain was promoted as a Team Leader. He used to come early and make a position chart that was supposed to be approved by the manager before it is posted for everyone. One night, the night manager did not come so there was a Karen manager for the night and OP knew something wrong is about to happen. Karen replaced the position chart that OP made and replaced it with a new one. According to the new position chart, Karen had no duties and another employee was given two duties. It was a mess that night. Customers were screaming at the employees and Karen didn\u2019t come out of her office to manage the situation. OP usually gets to work 30 minutes early and makes a position chart. OP arrived and saw one of the workers crying because her mother kicked her out of the house.<\/h2>\n

3. After the day shift leaves, the night manager runs the drive-through register for typically three reasons:<\/h2>\n

4. OP went to the office to hand off the chart to the night manager but he wasn’t present in the office. So, it will be Karen’s first night working alone.<\/h2>\n

5. OP posted the chart and Karen showed up. After a few minutes, Karen pulled the chart and replaced it with a new one.<\/h2>\n

6. OP went to Karen’s office and this was the conversation that happened between OP and Karen:<\/h2>\n

7. OP told the day manager to call the store manager and let her know what was going on in the store:<\/h2>\n

8. The employee working two positions was taking 3 times longer to get the things done. The drive-through was backed up. Customers were becoming irritated. OP informed Karen but she didn’t listen to him.<\/h2>\n

9. A lady at the window started saying nasty things about Jen. Jen chucked a large strawberry milkshake at the lady. The lady wanted to talk to the manager. OP called Karen.<\/h2>\n

10. The customer wanted Jen to be fired. Jen came and told Karen that she is leaving the job.<\/h2>\n

11. Karen was bad mouthing Jen. OP left too. Two other employees also left the job and they all met Jen in the parking lot.<\/h2>\n

12. OP got a call from the store manager the next day. OP explained what really happened. Karen was fired and the store manager offered OP to join again. OP told her that he will only join if Jen gets her job back.<\/h2>\n
