Who says albinos cannot be beautiful? They are unique and they are absolutely beautiful. It is this unique condition that makes them stand out and shine bright. Albinism is a condition in which cells can not produce melanin. Albino animals have a partial or complete loss of pigmentation. Albino animals are rare but they have been seen everywhere in the world. We do not care how an animal looks, we just love them for being animals.<\/p>\n
Being an albino animal in the wild is not an easy thing. Albino animals are born with poor eyesight which puts them in danger. They find it difficult to find food. Their white color makes them stand out and they cannot completely camouflage themselves which helps predators prey on them easily. In Olney, Illinois, there are more than a hundred albino squirrels and their population is increasing. Albino animals may look white or pink. Have you ever seen a zebra without those black stripes?
