This woman who tried to play her stepdaughter got played.

No one can live a perfect life because it’s just not possible and no I am in no mood to argue about this. It is what it is. Take the daily disputes, for instance, we get mad at and people get mad at us so frequently throughout the day. And then there are moments when you get into a little brawl with your friends, family members, relatives, colleagues, and other people. Mostly the fights begin with a disagreement. You don’t link together and that’s what makes your brain think you are correct and their brain feel they are in the right, resulting in a dispute. Disagreement can be allowed if it is a rationale but it isn’t, there is no way anyone is going to allow it even if they are your family member who is disagreeing with you.

There is one way to get out of disputes and that is by ignoring them but it becomes impossible when both parties are in the same house, that’s when communication becomes unavoidable. So it is important that you keep in touch right from the start, don’t communicate on disputes but have an open conversation on a day-to-day basis to avoid any damage to the relationship if any dispute is ever to occur.

Well, a dispute occurred in today’s Reddit story that we have got for you guys and it occurred between a stepmother and a stepdaughter. The stepmom wanted to move in with OP’s husband and wanted OP to move out. Unfortunately, she was unaware of the fact that her stepdaughter was the owner of the house and possessed all power to get her evicted if she wanted to.

Scroll down below to read the story to know if OP did kick her stepmother out or not, when she got asked to leave.

1. So is it a trend, for people to kick their parents out? We’ll have to see why OP kicked hers out.

2. OP seemed to have a nice family living in a joint system.

3. OP’s mom passed away but her grandparents and father took really good care of her.

Good enough for her to say she had a good life. And it is not easy to have one without a mother.

4. OP’s grandparents also passed away during the COVID times.

""

Nice of OP’s father to renovate the very house they were allowed to live in without any rent charge.

5. OP, being the only grandchild of her grandmother, got the house and a lot of money in her granny’s will.

6. OP’s dad got into a relationship and asked his daughter if she could move in with him. OP agreed.

""

Why did Dad ask OP? Hmm!

7. Turns out the couple got pregnant and OP seems to be pretty happy about it because she knows her father is good at parenting…But she did have complaints about his communication skills. I wonder why?

8. As her due date came closer, OP’s stepmom started working on her plan to make OP leave the house. Looks like she has no idea OP owns the house.

9. Everyone has ample space to live, don’t you think?

10. So kind of her stepmom to offer her apartment as a discount.

11. OP broke it to her stepmother that she owns the house they are living in and I don’t think she digested this news very well.

""

12. Looks like the couple is going to form a consensus on something, and that too quickly, because OP is not going to leave the house.

""

13. And yes, they got kicked out.

14. No crybabies here…they are going.

OP was NTA. In what position was her stepmother to make such an outrageous demand? They already had two out of three bedrooms. And now she wanted OP’s bedroom so her mother could come in and help her with the newborn baby. All OP did was be honest with her stepmother by telling her she is the owner of the house. And no situation ever will make anyone kick OP out because it is not legally possible.

Here’s what the AITA community members had to say:

15. Stepmommy just wanted a freebie and she missed it.

16. The apartment she offered wasn’t even free, it was on a discount. And she wanted the house for free. The math doesn’t add up.

17. Too good to leave out.

18. OP’s stepmom forced this decision on her if anything.

19. OP’s house is hers to enjoy.
