Ideally, in a society, there should exist equality among the entire population. So those in need or the weaker person should be helped by a better, resourceful person who is actually capable of helping. Let’s categorize this phenomenon for better understanding. If you see a pregnant woman, a person with disabilities, an elderly person, or a child in need of help, you shouldn’t think twice before helping that person out because their current condition, age, or thinking ability may not allow them to help themselves to the best. <\/p>\n
Countries try their best to provide these people with a lot of special accommodations like special seats on buses, separate parking for disabled people, etc. The problem arises when two different people with the same difficulty require the exam same accommodation. This can happen but how do you decide which out of those two humans should be given priority or accommodation in this case? <\/p>\n
In buses, when the ride is long, the people for who the special seats are made should sit on them because it would make things really difficult for them otherwise. These people can be someone who is old and cannot stand for too long, someone with a leg injury who needs to keep their leg protected so they cannot sit on a regular seat, or a pregnant woman. They should not stand for long and must utilize those special seats at all costs. <\/p>\n
In today’s story Reddit user u\/Comfortable-Ice-5845<\/a> took it to the subreddit ‘Am I The A$$hole?<\/a>‘ to share that he forced<\/em> his pregnant wife to leave her seat and give it to another woman who was in a later stage of pregnancy as compared to his wife. The wife obviously did not like it. The husband then, confused, left his fate at the hands of the AITA community members to know if he did the right thing or not. The subreddit that was created only 9 years ago has now over 5.4 million community members who declare hundreds of people a$$holes or not the a$$holes on a daily basis.
