Taking revenge is not always the best way to resolve the matter, but it sure can be sweet if it’s well deserved. A good example of this would be when someone purposefully chooses to be an inconvenience to others.

Ia_ja, who posts as Redditor u/Ia_ja, told the community of ‘Petty Revenge’ about the time they decided to teach such a person a lesson. In this case, the OP drove 60 miles to a liquor store looking for a specific wine, but the staff refused to sell it to him because of a specific policy regarding identification. The customer was seeking retribution, however, not because of the policy itself, but because of the manner in which the manager handled the situation rather than the policy itself.

1. This guy made an order of 10k and never picked it up keep on scrolling down to read the full story

""

Via

2. He drove 60 miles in the storm for vine lmao

""

Via

3. The cashier thought OP was another person when he really wasn’t with anyone

""

Via

4. So the manager said to bring iD or they won’t sell it to OP but the only problem is OP wasn’t with anyone

""

Via

5. Manager was not in the mood to understand the situation

""

Via

6. Well that is disrespectful

""

Via

7. That’s just rude now!

""

Via

8. At least he got the stuff he needed

""

Via

9. The other location was on some kind of power trip for real lmao

""

Via

10. He should have given the feedback the same night he had the bad experience

""

Via

11. She really just said that you walked in at the same time as someone else and that makes you a party? Bruh.

""

Via

12. She said that employees were watching the op and that person and that person apparently left 30 minutes before OP went to check out

""

Via

13. Yes if that is your policy why didn’t they say something when they saw the other person leaving?

""

Via

14. Bruh weird employee

""

Via

15. Well yes even if that was the case the least they could have done was offer an apology for the inconvenience

""

Via

16. Okay so the employee was wrong after all

""

Via

17. Interesting

""

Via

18. Well anyone would be shocked

""

Via

19. OP himself used to work in retail and knew what an inconvenience it is to pack pickup orders

""

Via

20. Uh-oh an order of $10,000 which he was never gonna pick up? that’s evil

""

Via

21. He ordered the cheapest and heaviest bottles so that it can take up the most amount of space lmao

""

Via

22. He knew what he was doing

""

Via

23. So OP basically ruined the whole day for the manager and the staff lmao

""

Via

24. OP thought that they might cancel the order or call that they would call him

""

Via

25. They sent OP 3 reminders

""

Via

26. Well did she actually remember him?

""

Via

27. Bruh OP is a savage lmao

""

Via

28. Lmao she just hung up

""

Via

29. They were supposed to cancel on the 7th day but they did not cancel it so OP decided to call the customer service

""

Via

30. OP made them cancel it right then lmao

""

Via

31. OP even uploaded the receipt of the order he made

""

Via

32. Here is what he had ordered

""

""

Via

33. Thie Redditor says that total wine management always-on power trips and how his friend also went through something similar lol

""

Via

34. Nicely done

""

Via

35. Lmao imagine going to buy alcohol on your 21st birthday and getting told this

""

Via

36. Exactly why would they let him continue shopping knowing that they won’t let him checkout

""

Via

37. What would they say if he actually did that though?

""

Via

38. Well yes it is weird, someone driving an hour and a half each way just for wine lmao.

""

Via

39. Was it worth driving 60 miles?

""

Via

40. Did he overplay his hand?

""

Via

41. This Redditor shares his experience with the same brand

""

Via

42. Lmao for real though

""

Via

43. This is what this Redditor had to say about the policy

""

Via

This was it, folks, this was the story we think what OP did was completely okay because let’s be honest the manager was being rude and didn’t even bother to apologize. Anyways let us know what you think about it down below in the comment section and make sure to like and share this article with your friends and family and stay tuned for more content like this with Defused.
