Children have the ability to make anyone’s head spin.

I’m not saying that raising children is a bad experience in general, but I think everyone will agree that if you have kids running around, your house won’t be the quietest. And this is something that most neighbours are aware of before deciding to move into the house next to these large families. However, this does not permit the family to allow their children to make noise at odd hours of the day. But that’s exactly what this woman was telling her next-door neighbour. And she was admonishing her. So it shouldn’t have been a problem if her next-door neighbour wanted to listen to loud music to cover up all the noise.

I mean, if you’re going to make a lot of noise, is it strange for me to do the same? This is something I do as well. My neighbours have a few children, and if they allow their children to make loud noises in the middle of the night, there is a good chance that I will blast loud music. If they don’t like it, they should not allow their children to do the same. Rules do not apply to just one person. That is why it is surprising that this mother objected to the fact.

She is being straight-up and is not being rude in my opinion.

But the mother still seemed annoyed by the prospect.

But she didn’t want to be a Karen so she asked Reddit if she was in the wrong here.

It doesn’t even seem like that she has a problem with the noise.

Could she, in theory, listen to music through headphones when the kids make too much noise? Most likely, but no one wants to blast their eardrums every time there is noise outside. People also need to pay attention to what is going on outside, which is difficult to do when wearing earphones. So I’m not sure why this mother was so irritated by such a simple statement.

People in the comments were on her side as well.

It is rare that we see neighbours who are actually nice.

Most of the time, we meet Karens and their entitled kids.
