We love kitties and they love their sweet naps!

If you have a cat, you would already know about how much your cat loves to nap. This is the only thing that they do the most besides being awesome, of course. Cats love to nap everywhere. No matter how fancy cat furniture you brought home or how cosy their sleeping place is, they will leave no corner in the home to have a sweet nap. They don’t always find their place fit to sleep but would rather doze off in a spare box. A fridge, on the floor, in kitchen cabinets, or in the laundry, all are good options for them to sleep. To be honest, it can be any place that for us is unimaginable, but for them totally fine.

We have compiled pictures of kitties sleeping in the weirdest places that will leave you surprised and will also make you laugh out loud. People shared these pictures online revealing the ancient masters of perfect sleep. Here are some of the best ones.

Cats sleep a lot. Like really, A LOT. They approximately sleep 15 to 20 hours a day. And if we are talking about newly born kitten, it sleeps almost the whole day. The sleep pattern in cats is different than in humans. They have deep sleep for a few minutes, and in the rest of the time, they keep dozing. They are almost aware of their surrounding during this time and get up quickly if they sense someone being around.

Many believe cats to be nocturnal, but that is not true at all. Cats are usually active at the time of dawn and dusk, while rest of the time they are sleeping in their coziest corners. The reason behind staying more active at dawn and dusk probably is their prey habit, as rodents too are active at this time of the day mostly.
