The two rescued brothers – Nestor and Bodhi – are inseparable.

Ginger cats are one of the most popular cats in the world and pet lovers absolutely love them. They are known for their unique red, orange and gold colors and distinct body patterns. All ginger cats carry tabby gene. ‘Tabby’ is a term which refers to those cats who have a distinctive coat pattern on their bodies that may include stripes, spots or swirls. Ginger tabbies also have an M-shaped mark on their foreheads. Many domestic cats breeds have tabby pattern, for example Persian, Abyssinian, Maine Coon, and American Bobtail etcetera.

Be it Puss in boots or tiger cat Garfield, ginger cats have always been people’s favorite. That is why, we are to show you not one but two very amazing ginger tabbies , who have been rescued by a Chicago based rescue organization from where they were adopted by their owners, who also live in Chicago. The inseparable ginger brothers were born on June 9, 2017 and are always together since then.

The owners of the adorable duo shared story of their meeting with them and said, “Bodhi and Nestor were at an animal shelter in downstate Illinois (hoopeston animal rescue team) and we were in contact with a Chicago based rescue organization (Feline Friends) who knew we were interested in fostering and potentially adopting 2 kittens. When they heard about these two gingers, they sent us some pics and soon they were transported to Chicago where we picked them up at a vet’s office. They purred the entire drive home and we signed the adoption papers soon after.”

#3 The little purrinces!

They love to share their cats’ special moments with everyone on Instagram. “We started this account just so we could document our time with them and have something to easily remember our favorite photos and memories of them. We love being able to share their silly quirks with friends across the world,” they said.

#4 Sweet, sweet babies.

#5 They love to cuddle each other.

Both of the cats are so sweet and their owners love them to bits. “These two are the sweetest cats we could hope for. Bodhi is for sure a momma’s boy and is always down for a cuddle or belly rub. Nestor is a bit more independent, but when he wants pets and cuddles, he will seek you out and looks forward to his evening cuddle as soon as his cat dad comes home from work. They’re both very playful. Nestor loves his wand toys and cat nip toys and Bodhi loves to play fetch with his coils and crinkle balls,” told their owners.
