We know police dogs are fierce and should be taken seriously.

But they are just so cute! We can not resist them no matter how hard we try. They have serious jobs to take care of and they must not be distracted no matter how adorable they look. These doggos help save lives and catch bad guys with their human companions. Now, we know that police dogs are fierce, but what about police puppies? Our hearts just melt at the sight of them. How can we expect these little fur babies to do something serious or dangerous? I mean, just look at them! They do try to act all tough but they fail miserably at it.

So today, we’re going to talk about police puppies and how they aren’t so fierce. In fact, they are the complete opposite of it. So today, we’re going to appreciate their cuteness instead of their seriousness. Trust me, you won’t regret it. It is a sight to see! We have also given some tips on how to train your puppy. Scroll down below to see 30 police puppies that just look adorable:

Dogs have been serving humans for a really long time, actually, since the middle ages. A lot of dogs are famous for serving in the police department. Namely, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, Doberman, and a lot of mixed breeds of these doggos. They are super obedient and are easy to train. They are loyal and trustworthy, hence they are perfect for working with humans.

4. Is this going to be my car?

These K9s have huge responsibilities on them, so they don’t have time to slack off. However, they aren’t just born with these special skills. They have to be trained at a young age so, by the time they grow up, they are ready to help their human friends.

7. I will work but only for snacks.

""

8. One day I’ll be driving this car.

""

9. Smaller than his own hat!

Police dogs are trained by their professional handlers and they even live with them. Even after retirement, they are still considered part of the police family. Their handler is responsible for the K9’s feeding, training, and healthcare. These dogs have a very special bond with the people they work with.

11. Small and tired at the same time.

12. One day, we’re going to wear these hats and look fierce.

13. Too small for his harness.

You can also train your puppy very well without having it join the police. But it takes a lot of time and effort to do that. You have to start by teaching them basic commands like sit, stand, and roll-over. But keep in mind that you should make sure your puppy has a good temperament, is obedient, and has good manners.

14. I’m going to travel in my hat.

""

forestandhoneycockers

15. He’s on top of the world!

""

16. Enjoying the doggy police ride.

""

If you just got a new puppy and want to start training them, when do you think would be the perfect time for that? Training is ideal at the age of 8 weeks old. We don’t mean hardcore training by that, just little commands like sit and stay, and being friendly towards other dogs and humans. As time passes by and the doggo grows, the handler or owner can increase the training challenges and present the dog with more complex commands.

17. Posing in front of his ride.

""

xTYBGx

18. He likes greeting people as they pass by.

""

19. They should start calling it the Pawlice by now.

All dogs are different and have unique personalities. Just like humans, you can not expect every dog to be perfect. Some may learn their tricks sooner while others may take their time. Patience is key. Do not let some setbacks discourage you as your dog will learn whatever you teach them with patience and confidence. Have trust in your dog.

20. Too much floofness in one photo.

""

21. “I don’t want to go to work today.”

""

22. Catching his very first bad guy.

""

janedunnphotography

When it comes to priorities, you should focus on your dog’s manners and temperament first. Everything else comes later. If your dog is obedient and well-mannered, it will learn all the challenges you put forward easily. However, if your dog turns out to be stubborn, it will be difficult for you to teach them anything at all. Remind them that you are their master, not the other way around.

23. That is a very big badge for a very small pupper.

""

Unknown

24. This is just hilarious! The poor thing!

""

Brimfield Police Department

25. He will need a little bit of time getting used to that weight.

""

ohhbaby

Even though training your dog doesn’t mean you will be catching thieves and murderers, but the time you spend with them during training and playtime will strengthen your bond. Trust me, it will be worth it.

26. Sleepy pupper just doesn’t care.

""

Taiwan’s National Police Agency

27. The harness will just slide off of this little one.

""

Jonathan Kozowyk

28. It looks like one of those Russian dolls with different sizes.

""

New Zealand Police

29. I’m scared of the bad guys. Human, save me!

""

duglasfresh

30. You can see the big dog just saying “Please, take this thing away” with its eyes.
