“Malicious Compliance” is a platform on Reddit where so many hilarious compliance stories are posted on a daily basis. In these stories, people are forced to comply with the dumbest and weirdest of things. And when they are left with no other option, they decide to comply with it but with a hint of maliciousness. The purpose is simple, to teach a solid lesson that won’t ever be forgotten. The subreddit has been in existence for over 7 years now and has gained 3.6 million members in this short period.
Today we have a beautiful story for you coming from this infamous subreddit. Reddit user u/lentesta who lived with his wife at an apartment complex finally moved out as they were shifting into a condo. Before moving out they paid all the remaining dues and were all clear. However, a month later, the couple received a follow-up bill from the same apartment complex of just $0.02. OP and his wife had a nice laugh at this but then decided to pay the amount.
But when he did reach the complex to make the payment, the manager said they do not accept cash. OP was left confused so he asked if they take a check to which the manager said yes, they can process a check. That is when OP came up with a brilliant idea to maliciously comply with what the manager said.
What happened next is for you guys to read. Scroll down below to read how it all went down.

Via u/lentesta
I want to stand up and give OP a big round of applause for this. This is just gorgeous. Maliciousness meets programming, I don’t think there could’ve been a better combination. I cannot wait for the postcards to start reaching the complex. This is going to be so much fun.
