Real Life Partners of 16 Marvel Heroes And Villains

The Avengers is among the most well-known of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s films. The film brings together many of our favorite superheroes and villains, and the performers occasionally get into character so convincingly that we forget that they are real people just like the rest of us off-screen.

Despite the fact that Marvel movies aren’t exactly known for their sweeping romantic scenes, there are a few of iconic couples that manage to keep their love alive while saving the world, such as Pepper Potts and Tony Stark, or Vision and Wanda Maximoff and the list goes on.

1. Here’s our favorite Iron Man hero: Robert Downey with Susan Downey!

Remember Robert Downey Jr. from the Iron Man movie also known as Tony Stark. He is married to executive producer Susan Levin. Their love story began in 2003, when they met on the set of the film Gothika. They married in 2005 and have two children named Exton Elias Downey (2012) and Avri Roel Downey (2013). Not only this, but Robert also have a son named Indio Falconer Downey, who was born in 1993 from first wife Deborah Falconer.

Aren’t they absolutely adorable? Chris Hemsworth has appeared in numerous films including Thor, the God of Thunder and Donald Blake on Earth. They both tied knot in 2010. The couple is proud of their three children: Rose Hemsworth (2012) and twins Tristan and Sasha Hemsworth (2014), who believe their father is a real-life superhero.

3. HULK’s Hero: Mark Ruffalo and his wife Sunrise Coigney.

There would be no Green Giant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe if he didn’t exist. Actor Mark Ruffalo, who married actress Sunrise Coigney in 2000 portrays Dr. Robert Bruce Banner.  Bella (2005) and Odette (2007) are the actors’ two daughters, while Keene his son was born in 2001.

Thanos hero Josh Broliln and his wife Kathryn Boyd have a baby girl named Westlyn Reign Brolin. Also, with his first marriage with Alice Adair, e had two children. Not only in Marvel comic, but he was also featured in Deadpool 2 (2018) as Cable.

Clark Gregg, the actor who played Agent Phil Coulson, has been in a relationship with actress Jennifer Gray for nearly 18 years. Stella, the couple’s daughter was born in 2001 just a few months after the couple tied the knot. In spite of the fact that he appeared in the comics, his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was enhanced.

Maria Hill’s actress Cobie Smulders married Taran Killam in 2012. This couple was blessed with two kids Shaelyn Code Killam born in 2009 and Joelle Killiamm born in 2015.  These two stars and their family seem to have a lot of fun together, as shown by Taran’s Twitter feed. Smulders is also well-known for her role as reporter Robin Scherbatsky in the How I Met Your Mother series.

7.Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury with his stunning wife LaTanya Richardson

After meeting in 1974, actor/producer Samuel L. Jackson married his longtime love LaTanya Richardson from the year ’80. Jackson pla S.H.I.E.L.D.’s director as Nick Fury. The prequel trilogy of Star Wars films, Jurassic Park, and his work as Whiplash in Turbo and in The Incredibles as Frozone have all made him a big star. Zoe (1982), the couple’s daughter, is a producer and director as well.

8. Professor Erik Selving AKA Stellan Skarsgård with his spouse Megan Everett

Dr. Erik Selvig, played by Stellan Skarsgård, is the protagonist of the series. On top of all that, he’s well-known for his roles in such blockbusters as Mamma Mia! and The Pirates of the Caribbean series. With his current wife Megan Everett, he has two more children: four from his initial marriage, four of whom are well-known performers, and two children from his current marriage. What a wonderful, talented, and great family!

9.Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper with her spouse Brad Falchuk

Gwyneth Paltrow, who was wedded to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, played Pepper Potts in the film. Moses (2007) and Apple (2004) are the children of the couple.  Paltrow married American Horror Story producer Brad Falchuk in the spring of 2013.

James Spader, best known for his roles on The Blacklist and Boston Legal portrays Ultron in the film. His characters are noted for their exclusive, dramatic, and amazing touches to the scenes.   With his longtime companion Leslie Stefanson, he has a child, Nathanael (2008). Elijah and Sebastian were born from his previous marriage to decorator Victoria Wheel.

Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is played by the ever-famous British producer and actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.  In 2009, on the sets of  Nowhere Boy, Aaron, then 18, met Sam Taylor-Wood, 42, his future wife. In the same year, they revealed their engagement and married in 2012. Romy Hero was born in 2012 and Wylda Rae were born in 2010 This pair proves that even a large age gap is not a barrier to love, and we can see that by pictures of their relationship on social media.

Edwin Jarvis, popularly known as J.A.R.V.I.S., the butler of the Stark household, is the AI (Artificial Intelligence) supporting Iron Man. Paul Bettany, the actor who played Jarvis and is the partner of Jennifer Connelly, performed the role. In the months following their wedding, the couple welcomed their first child, Stellan Skarsgrd, who was named after the actor. Agnes Lark, the couple’s second child, was born in the year 2011. From the relationship with David Dugan, Jennifer Connelly also had a son named Kai.

Falcon, the nickname of Sam Wilson, is played by Anthony Mackie. He secretly married Sheletta Chapital, his lifelong sweetheart, in 2014. Their first child was born in 2009, and they now have three.

14. Don Cheadle (War Machine & James “Rhodey”) with his spouse Bridgid Coulter

Don Cheadle, a film producer and an actor, constructed the role of a former Air Force commander. He is best known for his role in the Iron Man films, but he plays the saxophone  as well in addition to acting. Bridgid Coulter and he began dating in 1992 and were married in 1997. They have two children, born in 1995 and 1997, respectively.

Doctor Strange shields the Earth from all kinds of mystical and magical troubles. The character is played wonderfully by the ever-famous Benedict Cumberbatch. Since 2015, he has been married to Sophie Hunter. The couple had their first kid the same year and named him Christopher Carlton. They had another child in 2017 named Hal Auden.

The enthralling Marvel Comics’ Asgard is a fictional realm where Peter Dinklage’s character Eitri lives. The work of this actor has been very famous on the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones,” as well as in other films like “Elf,” “The Boss,” and others. Many people around the world have fallen in love with his talent. In 2005, he married Erica Schmidt, a theatre director. They have two children, a daughter born in 2011 and a son born in 2017.
