Dad Evicts Son, Future Daughter-in-law, & Her Family From House After They Banned Him From Their Wedding

In today’s Reddit AITA story, our OP finds himself in an unexpected and unpleasant situation when he hosts a barbecue party at his Pennsylvania house, that his son lives in rent-free, to get to know his son’s future in-laws. Those in attendance include the original poster and his wife, their daughter, his son and his fiancee, the fiance’s parents, and her sisters. However, things go wrong horribly from there. #1) Is OP the AH for throwing his freeloading in-laws out of a house he and his wife own? Let’s see.

#2) OP and his wife bought a house in PA and gave it to their son since he needed a place as he went to college in PA as well.

The question that haunts all of us about today’s story is that OP’s son is doing nothing to address his bride-to-be’s demands and her family’s hostility. Instead, he seems to be going along with everything they say and letting them insult his own family without speaking up. It’s the lack of spine that’s truly infuriating.
