Pet owners have an irreplaceable bond with their pets and giving up on their pets is not an easy thing. You cannot expect them to give their pet to you just because you found them cute and you got attached to them. A Reddit user took to Reddit to explain that she adopted a dog and left her dog at her mom’s place while she had to complete her university. She came back home after three years and she was looking for a job. When she got a job, she decided to move to a nearby apartment. When it came to taking her dog with her, her brother got offended and told her that he and his girlfriend were pretty close to the dog and that she should not take it with her. They further told her that they have been taking care of the dog while was busy studying. OP told them that she never asked them to take care of the dog.
