Dogs don’t always follow the rules.
Dogs are highly intelligent animals and you can teach them to do almost anything. However, sadly they cannot read and thus cannot follow the rules put forth by humans. Even people who adore dogs understand that letting your dog do their business in someone’s yard is generally not a good thing. However, usually, everyone picks up after their dog unless they are being inconsiderate so it never becomes an issue.
But that doesn’t mean that everyone is okay with dogs trapezing around their garden. I mean, there is nothing wrong with not being a big fan of dogs or not wanting an animal to mess up your garden. And I think we can all agree that not wanting dog poop in your yard is not really asking for much. Although, this rule is not always possible to follow as we will come to see in this particular story.

They are new in this area and things are already off to a bad start.
Maybe they had a bad experience in the past.
She tried her best but she couldn’t stop her dog.
I will start this off by saying that I don’t have a dog so take my opinion with a grain of salt. However, from what I know about dogs, they generally do need to poop whenever they are on a walk. Should the dog owner be more careful? I would say so. But at the end of the day, they did pick it up so it really wasn’t as big of a deal as the neighbor is making it out to be. And it is not as if she could stop her dog in the middle so I don’t know who is really in the wrong here.
People had quite a few varying opinions on this.
Most people were on the dog owners’ side.
And called out the neighbor for over-dramatizing.
They did clean it up right afterward.
It wasn’t as if they had a choice.
It wasn’t voluntary on the dog owners’ part.
Or maybe the neighbor was having a bad day.
Some people even mentioned how it isn’t their neighbor’s property.
Some people do take things way too seriously.
They were trying to be careful as well.
You could always train your dog but that isn’t always possible.
However, there were a few who called the dog owner out.
They said that she should have been more careful.
Some even shared their own experiences.
It is quite disrespectful to allow your dog to do that.
However, it wasn’t as if she had planned it beforehand.
Not everyone has nice neighbors so this is understandable.
The dog owner simply wanted to avoid the car.
I hope they sort out this issue soon.
