There are so many things to be grateful for this year, as there are every year, including family, friends, full bellies, and, of course, the incredibly hilarious Thanksgiving disasters that people have shared online and which have made you incredibly glad they aren’t your own. Because, let’s face it, despite the fact that this holiday is meant to be a time of joy and thanks, it can easily devolve into a hysterical cooking competition where at least six things are guaranteed to go horribly wrong.
Whether we like it or not, there is a lot of pressure to prepare Michelin-star meals. But no amount of planning, learning, or contemplation can guarantee that the feast goes off without a hitch. Many homes around the nation recently suffered from ruined ovens, burnt casseroles, and fatal turkeys.
