Babies are meant to be small.
After all, they still have a lot of growing up to do. And that applies to cats as well. However, sometimes a kitten can end up being smaller than its other siblings in the pack. They are usually known as the runt of the group. And mother cats will sometimes refuse to care for the little kitten just because they think the little baby won’t be able to survive. This may seem harsh but it isn’t the cat’s fault as it is in their nature even if they have grown up in a luxurious house.
But when they do get kicked out of the litter, humans are there to pick them up and give them as much love as they need. And I don’t know about you but my heart is unable to handle tiny kittens just because they look so cute all sleepy in the palm of your hand. I think it is a given that anything tiny is cute no matter what. And tiny kittens just happen to be extra special. Some cats just remain quite small and that is not an issue. While some cat breeds can become huge others remain small even in their adult years.
