Wrong Price Tag Gets Store Owner Infuriated After Product Is Sold, Drama Ensues

The customer is always right well at least in this scenario.

Tagging all the products with their right pricetags doesn’t seem too much work but in reality, it can sometimes be really hectic putting the correct price tag on the right item although it takes a bit of effort, It can make a night and day difference. In this situation, if the customer purchases the item and they’re on their way, the retailer has no right to ask them to return whatever they’ve purchased and this, with all honesty, isn’t something wrong on the part of the customer, the store or retailer should take equal responsibility and maybe try talking in a nice tone to the recent customer if they really want their item back. This should be made a universal law, why you ask? because this clearly teaches whoever is running the business that they need to be careful while putting price tags on their items and also that they need to make an extra effort so that mistakes like this can be ultimately avoided. So today we look at a story where a person purchased this computer from this store and they got a call from the owner to return the computer because they paid the wrong price.

So Op went to this pawn shop and saw a computer that had a price tag of $89 on it. Op’s laptop needed a massive upgrade since it was old and it could barely keep up with their internet needs so they bought it. A few days later Op got a call from the pawn shop owner who asked him to bring the computer back and he spoke to Op really rudely. Op was given two options, either return the computer or pay the estimated difference and $889 hence Op had to pay the $800 difference.

The pawn shop owner continued being rude to Op and asked Op to return the computer or the shop owner was going to charge from Op’s credit card as recently the credit card was used to make the purchase of the computer however the owner continued on bashing Op and told them that he was going to call the cops. Op had the recipient and their case had more weightage than the owners.

Op further explains their case that it’s not Op’s fault that the price tag of the computer was wrongly labelled. Op saw the perfect deal for a new computer and bought it like a normal human being. Upon checking the hardware of the computer, It turned out that the computer was pretty high-end but it’s the shop owner’s fault for talking to Op rudely rather than accepting their fault in the first place. This entire thing could’ve been handled politely and the owner could’ve gotten something out of it but he chose not to.
