Being ability to play a range of characters really essential for actors and actresses. Moreover, the physical characteristics of the actors might not always match how their characters appear on film. This difference can sometimes be barely noticeable, but some other times it is clearly visible with the naked eye.

The protagonist of the movie is between the ages of 16 and 18 because, at the beginning of the film, she just finished high school. Lily Collins, who portrayed Rosie, was 25 years old when she took on the role.

In 2019, a new film on the devoted March clan was produced. One of the main characters, Jo, has a temperament and is steadfast in her beliefs. The actor who played Josephine was years older than the role.
