Animal neglect is a real problem.
I am not even kidding you guys. As much as adorable and perfect these creatures are, there still exist people who ignore them like they don’t exist or don’t cater to them the way they are supposed to be catered with. An example of this is people adopting pet animals just for fun and then all of a sudden loss that kick, this results in them abandoning these animals who then have to live their lives as a stray just walking the streets without a purpose.
It is a terrible thing, rescue shelters are doing whatever they can but they are slowly losing power as all the shelters are filling up to the brim and they are left with no option but to euthanize those animals to clean up the space. To be honest, you don’t want them to live life as stray but you don’t want them to live in kennels at a sanctuary either, you want them to live freely doing whatever the hell they want to. Luckily, there are some people in this world, some superheroes who understand the true worth of animals and adopt them not for a kick but to provide them with an amazing life, the life they fully deserve.
When these poor animals get adopted and get given a whole new happy life, they begin to develop trust in humans once again, and that inseparable bond forms between the pet and the owner. And the glowup on the face of that animal is unexplainable.
