Boxers have quite a scary reputation.
Boxers can look a bit intimidating when you first see them but that is all for show. I am not saying that they cannot be aggressive but that is true for almost all dogs. However, people still fear boxers because of their size and looks which couldn’t be further from the truth. They are actually quite adorable and do silly things all the time. From contorting themself into an impossible position to giving their owners the best pleading eyes you will ever see so they can get extra treats, there is nothing they won’t do to have fun.

Boxers are actually quite powerful and have a stocky build. Although you shouldn’t let that fool you as they have quite a gentle nature. They are also quite susceptible to good training so that is always a plus. While they do prefer the company of their human to other dogs, they can actually be taught to mingle well with other pets with enough time. They make great family companions. So if you are thinking of getting a dog that is high energy and will keep you safe then a Boxer might just be what you need.
