Bulldogs have been acquired as mascots for the United States Marine Corps for a long time. They are mostly perceived as grumpy and aggressive dogs, who do not smile and are not fun to be around. That misinformed perception is far from the truth. Bulldogs are the sweetest dogs you would have ever meet. They are very sociable and will bond with you almost instantly. Everyone who has a dog can attest to the fact that bulldogs are lively and friendly creatures. They may show stubbornness occasionally and courage as well, which is why they make the best watchdogs. Otherwise, they are very easy-going and will get along with all of your guests!
21st April is marked “Bulldogs are beautiful” Day. This day, dog-lovers celebrate the beautiful creatures that Bulldogs are because they do not get as much appreciation as they deserve for their adorable existence. People often wonder these friendly and lively natured dogs were names “Bulldog”. This name was first used around 1500 in a text. It was derived after the dog was seen participating in bull baiting. It was a sport where dogs were placed on a tethered bull. People would place bets on which dog would bring down the bull first. The dog used its nose to take down the bull!
Now that we know a little history into why these soft-hearted and friendly creatures are given such a bold name, let’s dive into a marathon of their adorable pictures!

Woah, that’s the most bulldogs I have ever seen. I was already in love with these precious little creatures, but these pictures made me fall in love with them even more. I am fighting the urge to adopt a bulldog because my house is already filled with so many pets. But this is a public announcement to everyone to get a bulldog immediately! These beautiful souls need a loving home with people who can shower them with warm hugs all time.
