Summer is here. At last, the season that has a very mixed opinion is here. Some people absolutely love the summer season. Especially, the Europeans who spend most of their year under grey, rainy, and depressing weather. So you can imagine, how excited a nice sunny day can get them. People and animals both love to go out and have a good time at the beach, the pools and play games.
On the other side, the heat can be really tough on you at times. Sometimes, the heatwaves get so bad that people have to stay caved in their houses and rely on the air conditioner to survive through the day. A heatwave in the USA, a few weeks ago, killed approximately 250 people in a single day.
So it has its own ups and downs. One animal that knows all the tricks and tips to make it through summer, and actually enjoy it, is a cat! Cats always like to have a good time, be it any season of the year. They like to go out, party with their mates, take a swim, get tired by playing with their cat mates, they do it all.
