You must have heard of many stories where people adopted these tiny creatures and took care of them as their own children. Likewise, we came across a story of a guy who usually giggled when his pals went for walks with their tiny dogs, but there comes a turning point in his life. And you know what? later he adopted so many Chihuahuas because they made him happy.

Introducing Bobby and Chihuahua – who became best buddies.
At least three Rottweilers have been in Bobby Humphreys and his wife’s home for most of their lives. So, he always thought of him as a “big dog guy”. Bobby usually giggled when his pals went for walks with their little pets. Because Chihuahuas are so diminutive and tiny, he never considered getting one as a pet.
Bobby once stated: “I actually would poke fun at any of my guy friends to happen to date someone who owned a small dog. I had truly just never had given one a chance.”
After 17 years together, Bobby’s marriage broke up.
Bobby’s marriage ended after 17 years of marriage. In the blink of an eye, his entire existence was transformed and he was devastated by this situation. He was depressed to the point where he considered taking his own life.
On the other hand, his friend Connie remained by his side and provided the support he needed to get through these tiring and gloomy moments of his life.

Bobby said: “My friend, Connie, had shown me what friendship really meant. No matter what I needed, she was there for me. Needless to say, I feel I owe to her quite a bit.”
One day, his friend Connie, asked Bobby if he could take care of his Chihuahua Lady for a while. Bobby used to make fun of his friends who owned these tiny babies, but Bobby, on the other hand, made the decision to assist his friend because he felt obligated to help Connie. He was a little bit afraid because once he met Lady, she was a bit unfriendly and was a little bit cold-demeanor. Still, Bobby decided to take care of her. Not only did his decision save his own life, but it also saved the lives of 30 Chihuahuas.

Bobby was scared and anxious when he and Lady got home because of the baby’s cold and unfriendly behavior. Lady Chihuahua, on the other hand, has never acted this way before. His surprise at her attentiveness led him to embrace her and the two became best buddies
When Connie came back to check in on these guys, she saw Bobby and Lady cuddling together which was surprising for her as well. When Bobby saw that puppy, he fell in love with all the small dogs.
Bobby finally decided to adopt a Chihuahua.

One day, Bobby found a one-year-old Kira, who had been kept in awful conditions by her previous owners, and he saved her. When Bobby came to the rescue of the pup, he helped her learn to trust and love people again.

Bobby then started taking care of more and more Chihuahuas that had a hard start or had special needs throughout the time. Eventually, he made the decision to begin his life’s passion project: Big Guy, Little World Sanctuary.
Bobby stated: “We rescue Chihuahuas who are living horrible lives, abused, starving, disabled, mental issues, etc. We give them either a forever home with us where they will never have to experience neglect or anything like that again, or we nurse them back to health and adopt them out! We just want to help as many babies as we can,”
