Being a girl has its drawbacks.
Don’t get me wrong: being a cis woman is wonderful, but it has some downsides. From having to carry on with your life while dealing with that time of the month to all the hormonal fluctuations that make you cry for no reason, not to mention the societal pressures that are placed on women in many countries. But we don’t have to let these things bring us down, and the best way to deal with them is to laugh at them.
I don’t know about you, but I find that humour is a great way to deal with these situations. And this is where Amby Vaingankar, an incredible artist, comes in. She has taken it upon herself to shed light on the issues that women face, and she does so in an original and inspiring manner. I had never heard of her before, but you can bet I’ll be following her now. She has created numerous comics, and we decided to compile some of our favourites for your viewing pleasure.
