You never know what you may find on an adventure.
The standard life that we all link, and I am sure many of you can relate, can get pretty boring. Waking up at 6, doing your usual 9 to 5s, and then whatever the body allows you to do for the rest of the day, which is mainly watching some television and chit chat with the family. We all get sick and tired of this routine and not many do much about it.
But this one 31-year-old Scottish traveler, Dean Nicholson, decided enough was enough. He was in no mood to continue working for others and decided to switch his lifestyle up by developing a new spark in his life, which was to see the whole world from a bicycle seat. In an interview with The Washington, Post Dean said, “I couldn’t do the 9-to-5 thing. I wanted to see the world and see what state it’s in.” And he did exactly what he said.

Dean decided to cycle across the world all by himself and the start point was his own hometown Dunbar, Scotland.

The confidence of the cyclist was right up there as he continued his journey through eight different countries enjoying all the nature’s gifts that fulfilled his visual satisfactions. Dean wasn’t going to miss this opportunity and shared his entire journey with the online users as he went along. The idea was to travel the world on a cycle all by himself but things changed pretty soon.
As Dean was about to cross the Bosnian border into Montenegro, his journey was halted by a sight of a tiny and alone kitten who seemed very hungry.

No one can resist petting a cat so Dean decided to stroke her a little and decided to continue with his adventure. But as we all know, one thoughtful stroke can do the trick and that is exactly what happened. The kitten was quick to show affection to Dean and didn’t want him to leave.
“I turned around and I had this wee monster chasing after me. Meowing her heart out, She was quite scruffy looking and she was quite skinny.”

It disappoints and surprises me how someone can have the strength to intentionally abandon such cute animals. Dean knew the kitten was in no mood for him to leaf so he decided why not take the cutie along? He named the kitten “Nala” inspired by his favorite movie “The Lion King.”
Nala and Dean were now ready to travel the world together as one.

Dean wanted to make sure Nala fully enjoys herself. So he decided to make a room for her in the front basket of his bicycle by removing some digital equipment that he really didn’t need in that basket and then carefully put Nala in her new room.
Nala appreciated the efforts Dean made for her and quickly showed him her lovable personality and gave off genuine vibes of a perfect adventure companion.

One of Nala’s characteristics was being very excited and she showed her excitement to Dean throughout their journey by jumping in and out of her basket and often enjoying the journey while sitting on his shoulder.
Nala was quick to grab anyone’s attention who they passed by and people requested to take pictures of her as well.

Two things happened on their journey together. Dean got to fulfill his dream as the dup traveled from town to town, enjoying the natural beauty and exploring new landmarks. A journey to be cherished till he lives.
And the second. The bond between Dean and Nala became inseparable as she successfully captured his heart.
