We all know that Disney has a lot of princesses. Most of them have the same helpless and damsel in distress kind of personality which is not suitable for being a role model to millions of children who look up to them. There is a long history of women’s portrayal as weak and dependable in the cinema. It is good to see women now are get more versatile roles, recognization in the film industry and inspiring characters in the movies that they actually deserve. So why not give a little makeover to our favorite childhood princesses and turn them into strong and powerful characters that every little should dream of becoming one day.
We have come across amazing illustrations of Disney princesses but with a little twist. The extremely talented artists at Bright Side combined two completely different worlds into one by giving an amazing transformation to the Disney princesses as they turned them into superheroines. Yes, you heard it right! How amazing is that concept? These artists are really creative and great at what they do. Oh, my God! I am obsessed with these! I just love how each and every one of them has such a fitting character. Each princess matches perfectly with the character from the other world. It is so awesome, I have never come across such a unique and creative piece of art. It is so crazy how creative some people are, these wonderful artists are always coming up with mind blowing ideas and creations like these. It feels so refreshing and good to see my childhood favorite Disney princesses who were portrayed as weak, helpless and dependable on men are now transformed into strong, powerful and independent characters. This is actually such a great concept, I would love to see these characters in a movie. Disney should definitely do that, we need to see more powerful and inspiring women in Disney movies.
