“I think reflecting both the classic and contemporary Disney Princess in my designs is really important.” Micheal says about his work. “Take my Princess Leia sketch for example – besides the fact that I’m a huge Star Wars and Carrie Fisher fan, Princess Leia was the first true kick-butt princess that we had. She inspired a lot of girls to be independent and strong. I want to reflect that in my designs.” He said that about his Leia design.
