There Is A Doggy School Bus That Picks And Takes Doggos To Daycare Center

Who should take care of the pet doggos when their owners are busy doing their important adult tasks?

It is a natural phenomenon that you have to earn in order to survive. In order to earn, people do jobs, businesses, and so on. This means you cannot stay home at all times. You have to get up early in the morning, get dressed as per the occasion, and get engaged in your own personal world. No major issues, right? Things get a bit tricky and difficult when you have a pet animal. Animals hate separation. These low-on-patience cuties cannot even survive a minute without their owners, let alone an entire day. And it also wouldn’t be fair to leave them on their own in the house, with no one to look after, no friends to talk to, and no faces to lick. Leaving animals alone can cause issues. Say you have a dog, the animal of discussion for the day. Leaving a dog all by itself can make it anxious and feel depressed. So this busy life of the owner because a problem both for the dog and its owner.

But that is why we have schools, right? And by a school, I mean daycare centers. People all over the world who only have time to spend with their pet animals at night send their little ones to daycare centers. People at such centers know exactly how to deal with animals and animals love it there. They make friends, they get delicious meals, they get to sleep, and they get to play. It is like school without the studying part.

Today we are going to discuss a daycare center that has creatively started a Dog School Bus to pick up dogs from the houses early in the morning and drop them at the center. Owners who have to leave home in the morning for work can use this service and never worry about their pets being alone.

Arat Montoya is the animal superhero who started Doggie School Bus Inc. back in 2016. The idea was to pick up dogs from home early in the morning, take them to the daycare center, and drop them off back home in the evening.

Arat moved from Mexico to Oregon when he was only 15. His father, a baker, wanted him to carry forward his legacy as a baker but Arat had different ideas. He was a dog lover and wanted to spend his life doing something for dogs. He used to work at the Dog Club of West Linn which is a daycare center for dogs situated in Oregon. Unfortunately, the service company closed but Arat’s passion for dogs only rose. He began providing services as a dog sitter and kept looking for jobs at other dog daycare service providers.

In order to grow big and support his family, while still doing something related to dogs, Arat finally decided to launch a bus service for dogs. He got a van in yellow color to show the school vibes and got it labeled “Doggie School Bus Inc.

Arat rented a 5-acre property where he would take all the dogs to. That property was his daycare center and that’s where the dogs would play with him, and each other, interact and enjoy their time altogether. He would close at 2 p.m. and drop all the dogs right off on the same school bus.

According to Arat, a day’s worth of daycare services including the pick-and-drop services cost him around $80 when he first started. The expenses were high but he had high hopes that his idea would go crazy in the market. Every dog who would join the daycare center would have to have passed a temperature test. This was done to make sure no sick dog harms all the others. This particular policy was loved by the dog owners as they felt more secure sending their pups out to the center.

Doggie School Bus Inc. became a viral sensation and customers started flowing in like open water for Arat.

In an interview with The Oregonian, Arat mentioned how quickly things began to happen for him. “I got 16 customers within two weeks. People were going bananas.” In the year 2019, Arat’s clientele increased to a whopping 300 and he would have to care for about 20 dogs every single day. Owing to the high demand and doggo-registration rate,

Arat purchased a bigger Doggie School Bus to comfortably accommodate all the happy pups who are fresh and ready for school every day.

Arat says he would love to provide services to more than 20 dogs a day but he has to make sure all dogs are cared for equally and the number of 20 per day, at the moment, seemed right. According to Arat, he doesn’t only do this so the dogs don’t feel lonely but he also does it so he doesn’t feel lonely. The company of the dogs keeps him bright, refreshed, and happy throughout the day. Arat’s relationship with the dogs has reached to a point that he knows the names of all of them by heart and he is also able to recognize every single one of them just through the sound of their barks

Arat loves what he is doing and we hope he manages to expand his business in a way that his financial issues from the family side get dealt with, and the doggos also feel happy and satisfied.

There is another doggy superhero named Evan Zwerneman who started a similar business known as EZ Dog Stay and Play in 2019.

Evan is another dog enthusiast like Arat who also provides daycare services for dogs by picking them up and dropping them off on a school bus. Evan’s company EZ Dog Stay and Play went viral when a client posted a video of him dropping their dog off back home in a doggo school bus on Tiktok.

The TikTok video went viral as it gained over 2 million likes and Evan’s daycare business situated in Austin, Texas became a success.

EZ Dog Stay And Play currently has 4 vans and one big, real school bus for the pick and drop services. It is also mandatory for the dogs to wear seat belts. Evan used to previously work as a manager at a veterinary clinic. In 2019, he decided he had to do something himself and he wanted to incorporate his love for dogs.

By the end of 2019, Evan had about 95 dogs ready to join the daycare program.

Evan and Arat basically solved all problems for dog owners who would feel concerned about leaving their dogs home. The owners feel relieved and joyous to know that the dogs are absolutely loving it at the daycare centers.

At times the dogs wouldn’t want to go home. That’s how much they love it there.
