Dogs are very sensitive about their caregiver. They can’t imagine being separated from their owner as they love them dearly. There is no doubt that dog owners love their dogs just as much. Studies show that dogs act like a baby with their owner. Lisa Horn at the Messerli Research Institute at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria, concluded in her research that “One of the things that really surprised us is, that adult dogs behave towards their caregivers like human children do. It will be really interesting to try to find out how this behavior evolved in the dogs.” This study was published on 21 June 2013 in PLOS ONE.
