There is a high chance you will have at least one rude neighbour.
It’s like they have to fill a quota or something. it is impossible to have nice neighbours wherever you move. This is why I don’t like to make friends with neighbours and keep my own space with them. because if it doesn’t work out, it can be quite awkward whenever you go out and have to meet their eyes and if you’ve had bad neighbours, you would know that. However, sometimes they just push themselves on you.
That is somewhat like what this particular neighbour did. First, they wanted the password for the Internet. Although they did agree to pay $15 to use the Internet. Unsurprisingly enough, they did not want to pay when the time came. Apparently, their dog’s vet visit was more important. And I would sympathize with that except their dog is actually not sick at all.

At first, everything seemed okay and they agreed to pay.
However, their tone soon changed and they started backtracking.
It’s annoying to me how much this person is talking. Over 15 dollars. Pay it or don’t pay it, but nobody wants to hear about your dog and medications and whatnot. No disrespect to the dog, long lives the dog. –Tyler24601
They also started making up excuses just to get out of paying $15.
I don’t think they are back on their medicine from what I can see here.
Why does it seem like the people that borrow YOUR money or service from you, try to turn things around and somehow try to make it seem like you’ve BEGGED them to take YOUR MONEY or use YOUR service?? –kidneyramble
It’s as if she doesn’t care if you don’t use her Internet. Weird right?
How they can’t see their own fault is mind-boggling to me.
Thankfully I’ve never had to deal with people like these.
And yet I keep doing this no matter how many times I get burned.
My goodness my brain was aching for some form of grammar and punctuation in ANY of those texts… a full stop, comma, hyphen, semicolon… ANYTHING! –HemisphericSensation
And a friend is there for you in your hard times, not only the good times.
It doesn’t seem like they were on speaking terms before either.
I am pretty sure they are not getting their own internet installed if they can’t pay $15.
I personally don’t like to make claims but I wouldn’t disagree.
That sounds exactly like what must have happened.
That actually sounds like a great idea.
Or they might just start mooching off another neighbor.
