Scrolling through the stories on Reddit can sometimes trigger pretty strong emotions, especially when a post pulls on our heartstrings, and just like that – OP’s pain and sadness becomes ours. Today’s Reddit AITA story revolves around OP (30F) and her wife (33) as they say goodbye to their dear canine companion of nine years, Buddy. Buddy was a cherished unit of their family, not just a pet. Due to some increasing medical conditions, they decided to get their furry friend euthanized. OP, OP’s wife Quinn, and their two young children, Maeve (6F) and Michael (8M), went to the vet and ended up facing this painful situation together. With the intention of passing on life lessons to their young ones, they chose to let the children be present for Buddy’s final moments and pet him.
