Family Forces Redditor To Take Care Of Sister’s Destructive Dog, Drama Ensues When They Refused

This always takes a lot of thought and preparation to decide to adopt a dog because you need to make sure you have the time and resources to properly care for your furry fluffy beautiful friend. Whenever it involves adopting any pet, it is up to us to be responsible because it is unfair to the animal to adopt if there is a house out there that can properly care for it.

Some situations completely alter everything, such as when a dog’s owner leaves for college, which occurs regularly. The dog is left feeling lonely, and the majority of animals will suffer anxiety as a result.

No regardless of how much time you have, a dog without anxiety is difficult to manage because it becomes disruptive. One of the few remedies is to buy the dog expensive medication for anxiety. This is the dilemma this Reddit user discovered herself in after her sister left for college and left behind a distraught dog who acquired anxiety and tore through the entire house.

After settling into their new home, OP and her boyfriend found that they could hardly afford to remedy the multiple issues this home had, and the dog’s constant destruction of things didn’t help. They attempted for as long as they possibly could, but they were simply unable to control the dog. As a result, they drive the dog to the sister one day. At that point, her sister begins to criticize OP in front of their father, and the family quickly began to hold OP accountable for everything.

We should scroll down to see what the Reddit community had to say because the OP was so stunned by everything that she decided to go there to check if she made the right decision.

OP didn’t do anything wrong it was her responsibility too and she would have taken care of the dog rather than OP. The dog was being out of control and destructive, things were falling out of hand OP had no experience with dogs and it was trying to tear apart due to its anxiety. OP did what had to be done and as you can see from the audience’s point of view OP did nothing wrong and OP is not an A-hole.
