Many of us choose celebrities who we can relate to rather than merely appreciating them for their skills in performing or singing. I all, who wouldn’t want to identify with Jackie Chan or Ariana Grande?
The affection individuals have for dogs is, in my opinion, one of the subjects that can be related to by anybody. Even Hollywood celebrities who lead extremely busy lives continue to value having a dog at home and posting special memories of their time with them on social media.
I browsed through the Instagram and Twitter profiles of famous people and discovered some fresh, sweet images of them with their four-legged closest buddies. Check out my previous post to view more pictures of pets with well-known owners.
#1 Chan
For instance, Jackie Chan has two golden retrievers who have been with him for a very long time. Jackie emphasizes how fortunate the two dogs are in comparison to the abandoned strays on the streets, despite the fact that they are both getting older and experiencing health issues. Jackie penned: “In support of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Organization in Asia), I’d like to make an appeal to all pet lovers around the world, try adopting a pet instead of buying commercially bred animals. I hope everyone can be more compassionate towards stray dogs, stray cats, and other stray animals. This year is the year of the dog, and I’d like to take this opportunity with JJ and Jones to send you our well wishes!”
#2 Emilia Clarke
#3 Justin Theroux
George Clooney is another famous person who favours dog adoption. He and his wife were thanked by San Gabriel Valley Humane Society in a post: “Millie was adopted by George Clooney and his wife Amal!! Millie, a Bassett hound, now has a new brother named Louie who is also a rescue! Congratulations and thank you for adopting!!”
#4 Danny Trejo
#5 David Beckham
“A couple of months ago a UHaul truck was found abandoned by the side of the road in Las Vegas. When police officers opened the truck they found over 160 Pomeranians shoved 2 to 3 in crates only big enough for one dog. They were left with no food. No water. No fresh air,” Writing about her experience adopting her pet, Katherine Heigl. “One of them found his home with me… meet the newest member of the Kelley family Sergeant General Major Sir. Named for his commanding and in-charge personality. We like to call him Sergeant Snuggles… he is not amused by this nickname.”
#6 Sylvester Stallone
#7 Drew Barrymore
Dog rescue is something that Drew Barrymore is really passionate about. “This is my Douglas. He is a rescue from the San Fernando Valley. With all fires and floods and tragedy that have changed the lives of people overnight in our country, many people have pets that are family members as well. Animals need us too,” as per her Instagram.
