Developer Forces A Couple To Join The HOA, Gets Fined By Everyone

Most people don’t like to join the HOA.

In theory, a homeowner’s association should be there for the people who live in the area. But most people just use this power to enforce rules that nobody wants to follow. I mean, I have never been in an HOA but from the sound of it, I should count myself lucky. While in some areas you have to join the HOA or they sort of force you into one before you have even settled into the new house.

However, this particular couple wasn’t having any of it when a housing developer ‘gentrified’ the area that they had lived in for a few years. When this particular housing developer came to this area, they were hell-bent on making sure everyone joined the association and they weren’t above threatening tactics or sending fake eviction notices. But don’t worry this story has a happy ending and the housing developer got what was coming to them. And you can read this interesting story for yourself by scrolling below.

This couple was newly wedded and they bought a new house.

The home association wasn’t active back then but then that all changed.

Soon enough, they were thinking of leaving the house even though they had loved living there.

So this developer ‘gentrified’ everything kicking out everyone who couldn’t afford the taxes.

That wasn’t the end of it as ‘Ryan Homes’ came to this couple and wanted them to join the HOA.

The home developer got told off again and again but they just wouldn’t let up.

They tried even more dirty tricks to get them to join and that is when the couple lawyered up.

The case in the court didn’t go for very long as the Lawyers had a lot of evidence against the home developers.

So at the end of the day, the home developer got what they deserved.

And what they deserved was a lot of hefty fines.

It is always surprising to see home developers not caring about the people who actually live in the area. While I understand that they only care about money but good business reputations goes a long way and this sort of behaviour doesn’t help anyone. But sometimes they just don’t care as long as they get what they want.

I am just surprised that they didn’t get the letters that were sent to them.

Honestly, they do deserve to be defamed for acting like such jerks towards everyone.

And the original poster explained they didn’t actually sign an NDA.

How did the inspector think that they could get away with this?

This story should honestly be everywhere.

There aren’t many good landlords out there but it is nice to see a story where they are actually being nice.

This person has the right idea.

‘Gentrification’ is happening everywhere and everyone just gets kicked out of their homes.

From now on paralegals will be called Legal Demons and nobody can change my mind.

They might have known that it wasn’t going to try so they didn’t even try.
