You have to ask your roommate while making decisions because they will affect them too. It is important to let them know before taking crucial decisions. A Reddit user shared on Reddit that he always wanted a cat but his mom never allowed any pets in the house. When he moved out, he planned to have a cat. One of his roommates had no issues with pets and supported his idea of having a cat but the other roommate rejected it because he was highly allergic to cats.
OP thinks that this guy had been the most horrid roommate ever. The guy told OP one day that he is moving out. OP was happy that he can get a cat now. OP started looking for cats and finally found a kitten. He made the deal with the lady and he had to pick the cat up after the roommate was moving out. OP got all the cat supplies.
