Our world still has hope.
There’s no hiding the fact that our world is not in a good place right now. Everything feels like it’s falling apart and hope is slowly fading away. Mental health illnesses are on the rise. Conditions like depression and anxiety are getting tougher and tougher to bear. Part of the reason is that pathetic global pandemic, COVID-19. How can a depressed person even try to start a battle with their illness if they are forced to sit inside the house. Homesickness adds to so many illnesses and can prolong them. Over 100,000 people are dying of COVID every single day. And the virus has been mutating every 6 to 7 months now. Those who are vaccinated, even they are not safe. And then every time you go out, there is always this fear that you may contract the virus. This is why outdoor activities have dropped to an all-time low. You don’t see little kids in the parks, you don’t see people jogging on the tracks, and more. It feels as though the world is moving towards inevitable destruction. Next up, global warming. I don’t have to say much about it. You guys can already feel it. It is very real and very dangerous. The summers are getting hotter by the year. Look at the glaciers. Natural habitats are being destroyed. And then the water levels. So many countries have become water scarce. Qatar, for example, is ranked as the country with the highest risk of a water crisis. I hope that never happens, but these are the projections. This is where we are headed.
And along with all these events taking place, our social order is absolutely worse in today’s world as well. Our political leaders prioritize their own self-interest above the interest of the general public. The way corruption has been normalized all over the planet, it has been rotting away our institutions. The law and order situation, expensive health care, racism, income inequality, poverty, external debt, population growth, the list goes on and on.
All of these issues that I have just mentioned are adding to the hopelessness. People need that spark to keep on living. Just like in offices, you need an incentive to continue working at the same pace.
Now, after telling you all this, if I tell you that there is still some hope left, in our world. That good people still exist. And the whole concept of supporting one another is not entirely over. Well, it is true. Not at a level, we want it to be, but yes there are people like this living on this very planet making that extra effort to keep hope alive.

“Pass it on.” I loved this statement. You don’t get to experience kindness every day. So when you do, make sure to do something with it. Keep it flowing. One person does all the hard work to revive hope, the rest of us should then make sure that it stays alive. It really warms my heart reading through all these amazing stories of kindnesses. Yes, good people exist, and we’ve got many more examples of them coming right your way.

We need more people like these. Suppose your net worth is over a million dollars.. And there’s this old woman that you see in a pharmacy who is on lifetime medication to survive which costs, let’s assume, $100 per month. Would it really hurt your budget to get her a year worth of supply? I don’t think so. You don’t need money to be kind. You need a heart. And that’s all we need to defeat all these illnesses that our world is caged in. A pure heart.
