It is okay to be annoyed with another person’s pet but it is not okay to go out of the way and sell it.
A relationship must be honored regardless of who the other party, completing the circle, is. One may be in a relationship with their friends, their parents, their siblings, or their other half. It is important to understand each type of relationship and how it works in order to best satisfy yourself and them. And there should be a continuous effort made to make sure the relationship doesn’t break.
We all know forming a relationship with someone means creating a very strong bond. Yet, we always say both parties must make their best effort to keep the bond alive. That’s because that very strong bond resides on an extremely thin thread. Factors like insensitivity, irresponsibility, and unawareness can cause that thread to break resulting in that rock-like bond falling hard and crumbling into tiny pieces.
The relationship of love means you expect your other half to be there for you, you expect them to take decisions that will benefit the two of you, and you will also expect them to treat what is yours with utmost care and love. All of this is made possible due to the factor of trust and it takes a lot of time for it to form and grow stronger. Unfortunately, there are still some people out there who don’t honor this relationship the way it is supposed to.
Like this one husband who literally did the most terrible thing to his wife. His wife had a cat who according to the husband was extremely annoying. Things didn’t end there as the husband decided to do something to get rid of the annoying feelings he used to get and he did so by going out of the way and selling his wife’s cat. Yes, we will let that sink in for a second.

I don’t think OP was the AH in this story. How insensitive does one have to be to actually sell their own wife’s pet animal? I couldn’t believe it when I read he sold the cat and that too without doing any paperwork or checking up on the person he was selling Molly to. Imagine how terrible his wife would’ve felt. Poor Molly and poor wife. The best thing she could do at the time was exactly what she did. He deserved to be kicked out. And the next thing the wife must do now, without wasting any more time, is divorce her husband.
