To Prevent Anxiety In Pets, Italian Town Bans Loud Fireworks And Switched To Silent Ones

Fireworks can terrify pets badly.

No one likes the sound of a big blast. It indicates that something bad has happened. However, when we use fireworks or hear blasts of fireworks being used nearby, we don’t get afraid or terrified because we know those are being used to celebrate something or people are having a good time with some fireworks on. But pets and animals don’t think the way humans do. They don’t understand the concept of fireworks the way we do. They just hear loud pops and blasts and that absolutely terrifies them. Some, very less in number, may get a hang of it but the majority of pets get anxiety due to this which can be very injurious in terms of mental health. Also, it is not easy to calm an anxious pet down. But you cannot really go out and tell your neighbors to not blow out fireworks because your dog or cat doesn’t like it. You cannot stop others from celebrating because this is the only tool. You either stop them from using that tool, which is near impossible, or you introduce a new tool entirely.

Fireworks induce fear and anxiety in animals and their owners get really concerned for their poor pets when such an episode takes place.

The panic can reach to point that the pet animal might just run away from the house. Pets are not supposed to be on the streets all by themselves but anxiety makes them take some terrible steps.

Anxious pets run away and they often end up unintentionally harming themselves in the process.

We all love fireworks. As I said, it is a mode of celebration and even though the thought of pets does come in the mind, we cannot seem to give the fireworks up. It is an understood fact that pet animals are far more important than fireworks but without any substitute or a medium other than the one currently being used, no one will stop using them.

Animals are far more important than fireworks but their use is also understandable if we take good times into account.

Well don’t you worry animals, we love you from the bottom of our hearts. Especially the firework-making companies who have been thinking deeply about the terrors their fireworks cause to you. The solution to the problem is to stop using the loud fireworks we use and switch to another kind of fireworks that are absolutely silent. So, you will still see all that kaboom in the sky with beautiful colors covering all of it, But you won’t be hearing any loud thuds or blasts. This would help prevent anxiety in pet animals and would also have people enjoy fireworks the way they used to.

Even better news, an Italian town in the Parma District known as Collecchio has now become the first town in the entire world to completely ban the use of loud fireworks and only allow the usage of silent ones.

The approach is simple yet effective. Not a single shop now sells the loud fireworks so even if someone wanted to, they won’t be able to get their hands on one of them. You can only get the silent fireworks and this is an amazing thing. I really appreciate the people and those running the town Collecchio. And the positive impact can be noticed. The animals now don’t get anxious when there is a firework show around them. In fact, they can now be a part of the celebrations and enjoy the night sky being filled with colors and beautiful shapes.

The silent fireworks have worked perfectly and pets can now happily enjoy the beautiful celebrations in Collecchio.

I hope these types of fireworks are soon introduced everywhere on Earth and the loud ones should just be banned.
