Entitled people love being rude to those who serve them food.
Yes, entitled people love doing a lot of crazy and stupid things that they personally love doing a lot but one thing that almost all entitled people enjoy doing is being mean to the servers. And honestly, I don’t think any of those servers care about it that much because they don’t know that entitled person so they don’t care what that person has to say. But at the moment, it does hit you a bit and you feel hurt. You feel embarrassed because there are people at the diner looking at you and there exist people who don’t like the spotlight.
In today’s story, we have an entitled stepmother who decided to turn into a monster to the diner staff. And guess who decided to take the matter into their own hands and take revenge? Her stepkids. You are going to enjoy this one because the story was shared on the subreddit r/MaliciousCompliance. After all, who doesn’t love a bit of maliciousness?

1. OP has a French stepmom, who came over with his father. And she is particularly picky about her food like typical French people.

2. Oh my god I cannot believe how Mark and OP would’ve felt going out to eat with her. She literally makes life hell for the wait staff of whichever eatery she does to dine in. And the kids have no idea how their Dad is still coping with this.

3. OP’s Dad and stepmom decided to come over to meet their children and Daddy insisted on going out for dinner. The spot chosen was loved by the brothers and they knew the staff and management very well.

4. OP and Mark knew Gabrielle would cause heavy drama at the diner so OP decided to go to the waitress, without being noticed by his parents, to let her know about his stepmom’s potentially terrible behavior.

Just look at the efforts the kids are making just so their relationships with the diner’s management don’t deteriorate. Giving a heads-up to their regular waitress was a really good idea because it is confirmed that she is going create a mess at the diner. Being slightly prepared for what is to come makes it a bit easier to deal with the situation. But this woman is a proper Karen. No situation with a Karen is ever easy to deal with.

6. The stepmom then proceeded to order a recently hired waitress.
She went off at the waitress because the butter was not soft enough.

7. Surprisingly Gabrielle wanted to pay the bill and that’s because she didn’t want the waitresses to be tipped and wanted to leave a terrible note about the service.

8. OP was disgusted at his stepmom’s behavior. Feeling embarrassed, he decided to tip the diner $100 out of his own pocket because the siblings wanted to remain on good terms with the diner.
That was not all. OP decided to take revenge on Gabrielle for what she did.

9. During the lockdown days, Mark and OP started learning to cook through online mediums and became very good at it. And this gave OP an idea on how to take revenge on their stepmom. Mark was fully onboard.

10. The boys cooked a delicious meal and served everyone and when the time came to serve Gabrielle, they just put everything back in the kitchen and didn’t give her anything. This was then. This event was then followed by a lecture on her hatred for American cooks.
Turns out the Dad had no idea about the note and he felt very embarrassed after realizing the truth.
