Manager Gets Stuck In Elevator For 5 Hours With A Full Bladder Thanks To Her Own Rules

This manager’s own rule became a horror story for her.

How many times have you seen someone declare they were mean to someone and after that event, everything went perfectly for them? You will never see a person getting anywhere after being terrible to someone, especially bad managers who have a very mean and rude attitude towards their employees. It is written in those bad managers’ fate that they will never succeed in any of their bad missions. Even when their subordinates follow the exact rules set in place, things turn on the managers’ heads and they really don’t understand what happened.

Today’s story revolves around this very topic and comes under the header of “Malicious Compliance”. Now, as we all know when an employee decides to comply with their boss and throws in a pinch of maliciousness, the tables instantly turn over on that bad boss and the result is a beautiful lesson for the boss to learn and an amazing story for us to enjoy.

Reddit user u/QuixiQuirk had a terrible boss who managed to get stuck in an elevator. They tried their best to help but also maliciously complied with her orders (rules) which didn’t allow him to help her. She ended up staying stuck for 5 hours and you know this much time is enough for that bladder to fill right up to the brim.

The rest of what happened, you guys will be reading on your own. It is a long story so you guys have to bare with it but trust me, you are going to finish it in minutes given how fun and interesting it is.

Basically, she made a lot of decisions in her life and she is about to make one again in a bit.

6. She would be extra rude to OP because apparently, she had developed special hate for college students.

At least she kept the Karens out. This really is a plus point. But what’s the point when the person keeping the Karens out is a Karen?

7. Not only was Amanda a terrible manager, she also had no clue about the job and would always make OP sort all her messes out for her.

14. OP went to the bathroom and even there he couldn’t escape the wrath of his manager. Let the man pee in peace, woman! He, of course, ignored her like she didn’t exist.

15. Amanda obliterated OP but you can notice how she is giving very specific orders to him and I am sure he is making notes of it.

First, he was not allowed to use the phone, now he is not allowed to leave the floor.

16. OP was certain he would get his moment.

It came! OP’s moment finally came. He had been patiently waiting all the pieces to fall in place. There’s only him and Amanda and she is stuck in an elevator and she has no other options but to ask OP to help her. I cannot wait to read how OP responds to this situation because such moments only come once in a lifetime and one should squeeze all opportunity out of them.

21. OP starts to toy with her at first.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

25. OP complies again with Amanda’s second order about not using the phone. This is amazing.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

26. Amanda went silent and it felt like she had finally realized her mistake.

27. There’s no way to get OP to bend now.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

28. She went all out and fired OP.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

29. OP had nothing to lose now so he decided to leave Amanda on her own.

30. This is the most hilarious piece of conversation.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

31. None of Amanda’s pleads worked as OP left the building.

32. He really is going all out. Not even a cry for pee melted him.

38. It looks like Ken wanted something like this to happen for a very long time.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

39. OP planted flowers with Ken, got unfired, and went home. Amanda on the other hand spent 5 hours stuck in the elevator with a full bladder.

Via u/QuixiQuirk

40. She certainly would never want to mess with anyone…ever.
