This manager’s own rule became a horror story for her.

How many times have you seen someone declare they were mean to someone and after that event, everything went perfectly for them? You will never see a person getting anywhere after being terrible to someone, especially bad managers who have a very mean and rude attitude towards their employees. It is written in those bad managers’ fate that they will never succeed in any of their bad missions. Even when their subordinates follow the exact rules set in place, things turn on the managers’ heads and they really don’t understand what happened.

Today’s story revolves around this very topic and comes under the header of “Malicious Compliance”. Now, as we all know when an employee decides to comply with their boss and throws in a pinch of maliciousness, the tables instantly turn over on that bad boss and the result is a beautiful lesson for the boss to learn and an amazing story for us to enjoy.

Reddit user u/QuixiQuirk had a terrible boss who managed to get stuck in an elevator. They tried their best to help but also maliciously complied with her orders (rules) which didn’t allow him to help her. She ended up staying stuck for 5 hours and you know this much time is enough for that bladder to fill right up to the brim.

1. Manager is in trouble and needs help from her subordinate. Let’s see how it goes.

2. We are about to go back in time for this one.

3. OP worked at a classic video store and it seems the job was perfect for them.

4. Everything was perfect except for his manager, Amanda.

5. Amanda hadn’t really had the best of lives and she now takes out all her frustration on her employees.

6. She would be extra rude to OP because apparently, she had developed special hate for college students.

7. Not only was Amanda a terrible manager, she also had no clue about the job and would always make OP sort all her messes out for her.

8. Amanda was Ken’s daughter-in-law and there wasn’t really much he could do about her even though he was well aware of Amanda’s attitude

9. Amanda wanted to make a phone call but as soon as she saw OP was already using it to deal with a customer, she went crazy and got super rude to them.

10. OP was filled with anger but somehow managed to hold onto himself.

11. Amanda stormed off but lit a spark within OP to do something about this. He didn’t know how, but he knew he has to.

12. OP made this revenge a part of his bucket list. You know it will come.

14. OP went to the bathroom and even there he couldn’t escape the wrath of his manager. Let the man pee in peace, woman! He, of course, ignored her like she didn’t exist.

17. One morning OP came in and noticed the lift was out of order.
