Nevertheless, this lady is a candy baron. Another is a pescetarian who is absolutely devastated after discovering that mayonnaise is not vegan.

OP is truly and absolutely not an A-hole here she did what was right and legit, and hence she has nothing to fear. Sometimes people become so selfish that all they want is things to be done their way and they don’t respect what others think or have planned. They think only they are right and others have no right to say anything even when they are wrong.
