Do not give a car to your kids if they are underage.
Kids should not be allowed to drive cars if they are underage but if they are learning, they should be allowed to drive it with their parents sitting in the car. A daughter was gifted a car by her parents so she would learn to drive and would get confident driving cars. She got her learner’s permit and passed the written test but she must have an adult sitting in the front passenger seat before she gets her license. OP gave the car keys to her daughter. While they were not home, OP noticed that their daughter has been using the car. OP told her daughter not to use the car but she did not listen. OP even chalked the tired but it didn’t stop her daughter from using the car.
