Cats can sleep anywhere.
If you have a pet cat then you know that cats will sleep whenever they get the chance. Even if you have a breed that is not as lazy as most breeds out there, cats will still spend most of their day napping to conserve energy. Some of these cats might also just get up at night when you are sleeping just to run around your or make a lot of noise just so you don’t sleep but that is not here nor there.
However, I am sure we have all noticed that cats sleep in the weirdest positions you will ever see. Even though I am well aware that their spines are not like ours, it still boggles my mind when I see them taking a nap stiff as a board or either sleeping in a way that half their body is contorted onto themselves. If you think I am overdramatizing things, then you clearly have not seen what the Internet has to offer.

To put it simply, cats are super flexible and agile. I mean we all know this since we have seen them jump from quite high places and stick the landing perfectly but this also means that their comfortable position might be different than ours. While humans have a few positions that make us feel rested and comfortable, it is much different for a cat. And this is why they will move around a lot to cover themselves from every angle so they feel safe as well as comfortable.
