Redditor Tells Her Roommate To Sell Her Dog Because She Is Constantly Neglecting And Maltreating The Dog

Living with roommates has perks and downsides, there is no doubt about it. You might find a fun person or group of people who make your life better, stick with you, and become lifelong friends. On the other hand, you can get a roommate who is a living nightmare. Things happen that reveal them for who they truly are, even when you believe they are good people. You might expect roommate conflicts if you add a dog to the mix. One Redditor is unhappy with the way her roommate treats her dog.

OP said as follows: “My roommate recently got a puppy and I was on board with her getting a dog. Since getting the dog she also got another job which clashes sometimes. Meaning she would work from 8 am-4 pm and from 4:30 pm-10 pm so she is never home. So who will the puppy be staying with you wonder? No one. She fully expects the dog to stay in their room in her crate which she now hates thanks to her.” She continues: “I have multiple disabilities and one of them is ADHD people with ADHD know it’s very hard to focus and when I do it takes a long time but if I’m bothered while in my studying zone I get irritated and lose focus.”

Then she began describing some of the abuse the poor creature had endured. Below is the story by OP in her own words. Don’t forget to read the comments of the Redditors at the end of the post. Scroll down to have a good time.

A better home is required for that dog. It seems like the roommate of the OP is almost physically abusing the victim. It’s unfair for both OP and the dog that the dog has become her burden. She is not even close to being prepared for the enormous responsibility of having a dog. But rather than just standing by and doing nothing, people need to speak up for that helpless little puppy.
