Person Asks Redditors How To Rescue Her Mom’s Boyfriend’s Crate Dog And Give It A Better Life

No sane person can bare unjust behavior towards a dog.

Dogs mean the world to me and I am sure the majority would say the same. After all, they are the most adopted animal in the world (tied with cats at almost 2 million adoptions every year). The reason why I use the term “majority” and not “everyone” is that there are some people who don’t respect dogs. See, not respecting is one thing, I can live with that. But disrespecting, that’s not acceptable, especially towards dogs, creatures who literally would give their lives to protect those who they love, who would do everything in their power to keep their loved ones happy, entertained, and joyous, who would give it their all to be the best companion and take care of their loved ones through all thicks and thins. And above all, who would die for you because that is how much they love you. You just cannot be unjust to such a creature, it shouldn’t be legal to do so. But the sad reality is some people exist who deprive these precious animals of the life they deserve.

A Reddit user, @dreamsofgoats, posted a story on Reddit that relates highly to the matter I have just discussed. They basically didn’t share an entire story but asked the community for help. They shared that their mother’s boyfriend has been very bad to his dog and the dog doesn’t deserve to be treated like that. The boyfriend basically keeps the dog in a crate, which is big enough for the dog to comfortably move around, but he never takes the dog out of it. The only times the dog is taken out is for baths and that’s it. OP believes this behavior is unjust, and that the dog deserves to explore the world and live a free life. Hence, she asks the Redditors of the world tips to rescue that crate dog from her mom’s boyfriend and give it the life it deserves. A life without strings. And the community, as you may have guest, came right to the rescue and bombarded OP with lots of ideas, tips, and opinions.

I really appreciate what OP is trying to do for the dog. Something its owner should be doing in the first place. I still don’t understand, why keep a dog when you are just going to lock it up in a crate and deprive it of all the joys of freedom. And he assumes the dog is happier in the crate. Unbelievable!

I cannot wait to read what advice OP got on the matter do let’s scroll down and read through the comments.
