The entire system was wrecked by this visiting senior employee, who also made foolish parking garage rules.
This Reddit thread, which was posted to the r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit, demonstrates how frustrating senior employees in the workplace can be and how needlessly complicated parking regulations can be. This Redditor had a secret arrangement with a parking garage security officer, who offered him a good spot close to the workplace. It is not, however, a recognized firm location. The visiting employee ended up having his car towed after he noticed where the Redditor was parked and claimed it for himself the following day (which is unpleasant in and of itself).
You would be mistaken if you believed that justice would be served at the conclusion of this tale. Building management was informed of the Redditor’s arrangement with the security guard after the senior employee’s complaint. The Redditor has serious doubts that this man actually ended up covering his own towing costs. This guy actually has the worst voice. What an impact he had on his visit to the office.
